It was early in the morning and it was already a ruckus in the Fifth Hokage office

“Tsunade-Bachan, why should I go to such a bored mission? It will hold my training down”, Naruto was obviously disgusted by the fact that he had a mission Rank C.

In the same room was Hinata Hyuuga, who was selected for the same mission, the task was simple they were messengers and only needed to hand over some documents in the Hidden Village of the Waterfall… Hinata was choose because she had experience as an envoy with his current status as next head of the Hyuuga Clan, but in Naruto’s case he was choose because of a rumor of Sasuke’s whereabouts, so they needed to take him out of the village before he did something stupid.

The mission was completed in two days an was planned to last at least four, so Hinata and Naruto decided to take their time and go slow to Konoha, in the night they decided to camp in a clearing in the middle of the woods near a lake; as they have unpacked all their things and set the tents for the night they started to chat for a while.

Hinata took all the courage she had and asked Naruto something that has been in her mind for a couple of years now.

“Na…Naruto-kun, is there some-someone you like?”. She asked looking at the ground and blushing herself.

“Why you ask Hinata?” as he looked her with confuse feelings.

“Ju...just wanted to kn…know if there was some... someone you like?” Hinata was at her limit her shyness was about to get the best of her.

“Actually there’s someone I like Hinata, but I don’t really want to talk about it”. Naruto answered as he began to walk to his tent.

“Well good night Hinata see you in the morning”.

“Naruto-kun wait I…I…Shouldn’t have asked, I apologize if I…”

“Don’t worry Hinata is not your fault” was Naruto’s answer as he entered his tent.

Hinata decided to do the same and just walked to her tent, sad because she has made the only boy she ever love get even more depress, this was hurting Hinata and his words of a woman that he likes were burning in her heart, she wanted to know who she was, who was able to win his heart.

A couple of hours had passed and Hinata was finally becoming sleepy, when she heard some noises coming from outside, she decided to look and slowly opened her tent.

What she saw was beyond her imagination it was Naruto walking to the lake, she thought for a moment and decided to follow him… when she finally catch up with him, she gets to hear him talking all alone, but as she gets nearer she knew it wasn’t a talk it was a complain.

“Would it be that impossible for us to meet?”
“Could that be my first and only time looking at you?”

Hinata couldn’t bare looking him so sad, so distracted, so out of himself

“Naruto-kun if you want you can…”

“Oh I see I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t sleep”. He interrupted her and turned around, what Hinata saw was a boy full of sadness, loneliness it was painful to see him

“Naruto-kun if you want to ta...talk about that girl I can hear you maybe I can help”

Naruto looked at Hinata and give her the one thing she loved the most about him: a splendid smile, a smile that even with his sadness have the power to make her heart go wild

“It was during our last mission with Shino” Naruto began explaining
“You were there too remember, when we were chasing the Bikouchuu…well in the night I saw a beautiful girl dancing in the lake, I couldn’t keep my eyes out of her so I decided to tried to get near her but… I felled into the lake and she disappeared”

Hinata was in shock she couldn’t believe what she was hearing; she couldn’t believe that it was true

“And then I got on that trip with Ero-Sennin, and we passed near that waterfall so I insisted him that we rest there for the night, I was happy that he agreed with my idea so in the night I slipped and get there... But she wasn’t there I waited all night and she never appeared”

Naruto was going to keep talking when Hinata took her coat and started walking to the lake, when she was on the middle she started dancing, doing the same moves he saw that night, remember every feeling she had that night… Her Shyness had gone the moment she understood that the woman Naruto loved was her; it was as nothing else in the world matter for her… Naruto had finally see her and that was making her very happy

When she stopped dancing she saw that Naruto was no longer in the shore, she couldn’t believe that he had left, and at that moment was when she feel his presence behind her,  before she got a time to react he has already hugged her.

Hinata couldn’t believe it and was about to faint when she heard the words she has waited all her life to hear….

“Hinata I love you, finally I found you my lady of the waterfall”
“I… I lo…love you too Naruto-kun”

In that moment she wanted the world to stop as at that instant Naruto has leaned to tap his lips with hers and was a soft but passionate kiss, a kiss that she had only dreamed and it was happening right here and right now, this was a memory she would never forget because it was the day that Naruto had finally fell in love with her …
